When one of your best friends says he wants your help to setup a proposal for his girlfriend, of course you say yes! You plan it out at a beautiful location with him, you organise candles and picnic, all things romantic. Then of course you take one for the team and volunteer to distract her and get her out of the house for an hour or so while they set up, only to find out she's working the designated proposal time.

So the plans change! But that's ok because the top of a gorgeous lookout makes a great place for a proposal at night, and also a great place for their engagement shoot.

With the original location being the same quaint church location they got married in, you can't help but think that the romance of the spot still had its desired effect.

Talor and Amanda have been high school sweethearts since year 8 (7 years I believe) and for those 7 years, I (Thom) have been the better part of their relationship third wheel. I would consider these two some of my best friends and they truly mean the world to me. Both so incredibly loving and caring towards others, both fun loving and crazy in their own unique ways that makes them perfect for each other.

When they asked to meet with me and asked me to photograph their wedding my first thought was 'Heck Yes!' While they were making sure that I would still enjoy myself at their wedding as a friend.

Their day was absolutely beautiful, married under the old tree on the church property out at Byng Rd, where he originally planned to propose, with unique flowers from family members and a bespoke feel.

They confessed their love for each other with personally written vows that were so sweet.

We then took off into the woods for an incredibly fun portrait session. Talor having his three brothers in his bridal party made for a great laugh for the whole group, laughing, joking and even crying together.

We then shot off for some individual portraits with just the two love birds of the day, where we found some incredible light, used some confetti canons and captured the essence of their love.

The reception in my opinion was the party of the century, with the boys loving to get a little crazy and rowdy on the dance floor, with backflips and crazy dance moves.

Talor and Amanda thank you so much for allowing us to capture your day. We hope that you have fallen in love with each other again and again every day since.
